How do I add the verse widget?

Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit → Add Widget, search for Lamp Bible, pick a size and tap Add Widget. For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize → Lock Screen, then tap the widget area and choose Lamp Bible.

What's free and what's Premium?

Free forever: the daily verse and widgets, the full Bible (World English Bible and King James Version, offline), search, Listen, highlights and notes, memory verses, your prayer list, the one-minute calm, today's reflection, two reading plans, three themes and 5 Ask questions every month. Premium adds unlimited Ask questions, Sleep with Scripture, a reflection with every verse, every reading plan, every topic and prayer, all themes, more reminders and video sharing.

Can Listen keep playing with the screen locked?

Yes. Tap Listen in any chapter; it keeps reading with the screen locked or in another app and moves on to the next chapter. Use the Lock Screen controls to pause, or the small player above the tabs in the app. For a more natural voice, download an Enhanced voice in the Settings app → Accessibility → Spoken Content → Voices → English.

Where are my prayers, highlights and notes kept?

Only on your phone. They are not uploaded anywhere, and prayer reminders never show what you're praying for. Deleting the app deletes them.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app → your name → Subscriptions → Lamp Bible. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid being charged. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid, but Premium isn't showing

In Lamp Bible, open Settings → Restore Purchases while signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy.

Where do Ask's answers come from?

Ask searches the World English Bible for passages that fit your question, and Google's Gemini AI writes a short answer that quotes them. Every verse shown is the exact Bible text, checked on our server; the AI never writes scripture. Answers can still be imperfect, so read the passages for yourself and talk with your pastor or a trusted person about important decisions. If you are in danger, call your local emergency number.

Is my data stored?

No accounts, no tracking. Your favorites, plans and conversations stay on your phone. Read the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
