HoloVault Privacy Policy

What we collect

HoloVault has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics. We do not track you.

Scanning a card

To identify a card, the app sends a cropped photo of the card to our server, which passes it to Google's Gemini API, a third-party AI service that reads the name and number printed on it. The photo is used only for that and is not stored on our server. Google processes it under the Gemini API terms and may keep request data for a limited time to detect abuse. A random identifier for your installation is sent with each scan so we can count free scans; it is not linked to your name or Apple Account. The app asks for your agreement before the first scan.

Your collection

Your collection is stored on your device. We cannot see it.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

Card data and prices

Card information and market prices are downloaded from our server. Prices are estimates and are not appraisals or financial advice.
